The ARLIS/NA Twin Cities Chapter held its spring meeting on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.  Janice Lurie, chapter chair, convened the meeting at 9 am.  The meeting began with introductions of all in attendance. The minutes from the fall meeting were approved.  Kay Streng presented Kathy Heuer with the ARLIS/TC Travel Award ($200).  The current balance of the chapter bank account was reported at $952.58.   However, the Travel Award and the $100 ARLIS/NA Conference Welcome Party donation were not cashed by the date of the meeting.  Items for the silent auction chapter basket were gathered.  Kristen Mastel led a demonstration of the ARLIS/TC wiki for updating e-mails, coordinating chapter business (http://arlistc.pbwiki.com , password restricted to ARLIS/TC paid members).  ARLIS/TC members coordinated a lunch outing at the national conference for those attending to be Sunday, May 4, 2008 by using the program Doodle.  ARLIS/TC members decided to coordinate the Arboretum as our summer outing venue.  Kristen Mastel will call for more details and aim to schedule late June-August on a Monday.  This ended the Business Meeting.  The next portion of the morning was the kick-off 2011 joint-conference planning session.  (Notes for this portion of the meeting are in a separate document, available upon request.) 

Treats and coffee were provided by Sarah Quimby and Kristen Mastel.
