A member specialist in the history of Renaissance and Baroque architecture, Professor Satkowski holds a B.Arch from Cornell University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Art History from Harvard University. He is the author of Giorgio Vasari: Architect and Courtier (Princeton University Press, 1993) and currently is working on the architecture and urbanism of the Italian Jews. In addition to teaching courses in history and serving as thesis critic, Prof. Satkowski is also Associate Dean of the College of Landscape Architecture.
